Education, Computer IT Move Up in Online Rankings

NC State’s master’s programs in computer information technology and education advanced in a popular ranking of the nation’s top online college degrees.

U.S. News & World Report ranked NC State’s online Master of Education 30th in the nation for 2023, a jump of 16 spots over last year. The College of Education is home to 35 graduate fields of study, including more than a dozen online master’s degrees and graduate certificate options.

NC State’s online master’s program in computer information technology ranked ninth for 2023, a jump of 19 spots over 2022.

Several online programs at NC State made the list of the top programs for veterans, including the Jenkins MBA, the Master of Education and the Master of Engineering.

In scoring online programs, U.S. News evaluates student engagement opportunities, faculty credentials and training, peer assessments, services and technologies, and student excellence. The complete list of NC State’s rankings by U.S. News for 2023 is available online.
