NC State University College of Natural Resources recently received recognition by OnlineU as one of the top 10 national college programs for its Master of Environmental Assessment (EA) program. The Master of EA program is entirely online through NC State’s Online and Distance Education programs.
Ranked seventh in the nation by the OnlineU 2022 rankings, the Master of EA program is intended for working professionals who want to advance their skills beyond the undergraduate level. Students typically enroll in one or two classes per semester to allow time for work, personal activities as well as family time in order to complete the course requirements.
OnlineU conducts research on thousands of online degree programs each year to provide prospective students with accurate and detailed information regarding their choices in higher education. OnlineU rankings compare real-world data, such as overall student cost as well as alumni salary. Accredited colleges that meet online eligibility requirements are then ranked by a salary score to indicate colleges that have higher alumni salary outcomes for graduates.
“The Environmental Assessment program was designed for working professionals, and having the program recognized in this way demonstrates that our students are able to successfully apply and transfer the skills they learn in order to advance in their environmental careers,” said Tamara Pandolfo, Environmental Assessment Program Coordinator, College of Natural Resources. “We are not only proud of our program, we are proud of our student’s successes.”
