Admissions Requirements
Admission to the Master of Science in Chemical Engineering program requires:
- A bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from an accredited engineering program
- An overall GPA of 3.0
The application package should include undergraduate and graduate transcripts and letters of reference. A six-member admissions committee, headed by the Director of Graduate Studies will evaluate the applications. We typically suggest that students apply to the MS program after they have completed one graduate course through Online and Distance education. This will enable the admissions committee to better evaluate the student. In addition, it will provide the student a window of time to decide whether he or she seriously want to pursue an MS or just take courses through the PBS program. Students are strongly encouraged to discuss their plans with the Director of Graduate Studies.
