In addition to earning your advanced Master of Education degree (M.Ed.) in elementary education with a specialization in mathematics or science, you also earn an “add-on” to your North Carolina teaching license indicating your specialization in mathematics or science.
This program will prepare you as a leader in science or mathematics. In addition to advancing your science or mathematics knowledge and instruction in your own classroom, you will be positioned as a developer of curriculum and a science or mathematics specialist/instructional coach in your school, district, and state.
