Research. Consult. Be a part of scientific and agricultural advancements.

Our Biological and Agricultural Engineering program is primarily focused on the design and restoration of sustainable ecosystems to protect our environment and natural resources. Graduates can expect to find biological and agricultural engineering careers across many different industries working on solutions to problems in a variety of areas.

Career Advancement

Many of our graduates use this advanced certificate program as a springboard to advance their existing careers. After 3 to 5 years, these employees find they cannot be promoted because the next step requires an engineering degree or graduate certificate. This is especially true for graduates of environmental science programs who enjoy the outdoor work, protecting the environment and working on projects like stream restoration, green infrastructure, wetland design, wetland restoration or urban stormwater infrastructure.
